Atlanta, GA - September 21, 2007 - eMag Solutions, LLC, a leading international electronic discovery company, announces the company was recently ranked among the legal industry's top 20 "Overall Service Providers" in the fifth annual Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey Report, released in August 2007. The survey examines the use of commercial EDD services and software, with service provider rankings based on seven key factors:

2007 Socha-Gelbmann Top Provider
  • Experience and reputation
  • Capacity
  • Types of services
  • Software usage
  • Law firm rankings
  • Corporate rankings
  • Revenue

Industry consultants George Socha and Thomas Gelbmann, who published the results of their annual survey in the August issue of Law Technology News, report that the electronic discovery market has reached $2 billion and they expect it to climb by more than 30% this year. They also state that the overall number of service providers in the e-discovery space continues to increase.

eMag Solutions is among the most experienced providers of data restoration services, having specialized in accessing data from a variety of archived sources for more than 40 years. With worldwide service centers, eMag offers unmatched resources and capabilities to complete the most complicated of tasks in the most efficient manner. The company has become known as a leading provider of electronic discovery services both in the U.S. and the U.K., having substantially increased its market share in the e-discovery industry over the past twelve months, (as evidenced by this being their first appearance in the annual Socha-Gelbmann survey.)

"We are pleased to be recognized among today's leading electronic discovery service providers, particularly in the annual Socha-Gelbmann survey because it is conducted by well-regarded industry experts using sound methodology," said Brendan Sullivan, president and CEO of eMag Solutions. "We expect our commitment to the e-discovery services business will continue to yield successful results for our clients and shareholders."

The 2007 Socha-Gelbmann survey reflected information gathered from 115 organizations, including 71 services and software providers and 44 law firms and corporate legal department, as well as additional, secondary sources.
