eMag Solutions Expands Government Business
Industry veteran Lawrence McNamara joins company, bringing additional expertise in managing GSA contracts
Atlanta, GA (January 22, 2008) - eMag Solutions, LLC, a leading international provider of electronic discovery services and data management solutions, today announced the expansion of the company's General Service Administration (GSA) program and the hiring of industry veteran Lawrence McNamara to lead eMag's sales and management of GSA contracts. The GSA allows government agencies to receive special rates that have established price ceilings for those products and services that are listed on the GSA by vendors and other contractors.
eMag Solutions delivers comprehensive electronic discovery services, specializing in accessing data from a variety of archived sources through data centers located worldwide. eMag provides law firm, corporate legal department, and government clients with proactive and reactive solutions for litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters that dramatically reduce cost, improve accuracy, and accelerate turnaround.
Mr. McNamara brings to eMag several years experience and expertise in managing government accounts, most recently with SuperiorGlacier in Washington, D.C. where he established and managed the company's government services division. He has experience working with government contracts dating back to 1999.
"Inclusion in the GSA is important for eMag, as it provides access to several hundred agencies and federal, state and municipal governments that are listed as valid buyers on the GSA schedule," said Brendan Sullivan, president and CEO of eMag Solutions. "Having someone of Lawrence's caliber on our team to manage these opportunities ensures we will continue to grow this segment of our business," he added.
eMag Solutions was ranked among the legal industry's top "Overall Service Providers" in the 2007 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey Report. In November 2007 eMag announced their adoption of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model's (EDRM) recently developed Extensible Markup Language (XML) standard for the easy transfer of electronically stored information (ESI) to and from different applications engaged in various phases of the discovery process. And earlier this month, eMag Solutions announced their acquisition of ITC, a company that performs specialized data recovery from Microsoft Exchange Database files and provides a comprehensive set of Microsoft Exchange Server recovery services and support for disaster recovery situations.
Mr. McNamara has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University. He is based in Washington, D.C.
