Latest version includes enhanced interfacing capabilities, improved reporting functions and additional security features
Atlanta (March 31, 2005) - eMag Solutions, a leading electronic discovery company, today announced the commercial availability of MediaMerge (MM)/Tape Management System (TMS) 2.1, the latest version of its post-backup media management software application. MM/TMS is a single-source application that allows centralized control of media policies and provides interactive supervision of media movement. Through the use of this product, organizations can reduce business risk by ensuring regulatory compliance, data accessibility and chain-of-custody requirements.
New functionality in MM/TMS 2.1 includes:
- Enhanced interfacing capabilities with IBM Tivoli Software - enabling faster capture of Tivoli Storage Manager catalog information
- Improved reporting functions - making the creation of custom reports faster and easier
- Additional security features that further encrypt sensitive data
In addition, major data centers can run and keep current using only MM/TMS, all while maintaining the availability of critical data from retired backup software products.
