eMag PreVu
eMag PreVu is a hosted raw data culling application that allows corporations and law firms to sort, search, and cull raw data, providing a host of information enabling them to make strategic decisions more timely and effectively.
eMag PreVu provides a portal view for organizations involved in the collection and analysis of data the ability to view, pre-cull, filter, and create early stage processing requests to facilitate e-discovery, litigation planning, or internal enterprise content management.
eMag PreVu helps reduce uncertainty around the costs of e-discovery and ESI management by enabling early case assessment to better grasp the the nature and scope of data. This application helps project potential restoration and processing costs, thus enabling users to begin making earlier strategic decision making to help steer strategy and control spending.
One key aspect of PreVu is its ability to facilitate cross-border, multinational collections, utilizing eMag’s UK processing facilities to accommodate international Data Protection laws in conjunction with the hosted PreVu application.
Clients can use file properties to include/exclude particular media, servers, file types, or individual file names to strategize and make better use of resources when making decisions about which media to restore and further process. Additional decisions can then be made utilizing file contents to refine processing requirements.

The new launch of eMag PreVu v.3.0 provides additional functionality along with enhancements to existing capabilities within the product. Some of the key additions/enhancements include the ability to perform search, grouping and tagging techniques on content/data in order to cull the information in a smaller subset for further analysis in the review process, along with automated de-duplication and extensive reporting capabilities.
