Larry Geisel
CEO

Mr. Geisel joins eMag with a long history of leadership and innovation in the electronic data and information technology industries. Geisel brings a unique background in software technology along with unmatched operational experience in senior management roles in companies ranging from startups to Fortune 50 firms.

Geisel was one of the founding members of the executive team and the former CIO of Netscape, and has overseen growth and development of numerous technology firms as CEO of such companies as Nexaweb Technologies and eVital Communications. Additionally, Geisel served as EVP and CTO of Knowledge Universe and COO of Organic. Most recently, Mr. Geisel served as CEO for InfiniChoiceTV, an Internet TV firm based in Las Vegas, NV. He brings to eMag unmatched experience within the software technology industry, along with a proven track record of software and product development, particularly in the digital realm.

Geisel holds MSE and BSE degrees with Summa Cum Laude honors from Arizona State University.

 

Brendan Sullivan
President

Brendan Sullivan brings more than 20 years experience in the data services industry to his role as president of eMag Solutions. Brendan has been with eMag for the past 17 years, and was named the company's president in January 2002. He also held various other positions with the company, including product marketing, production and engineering management and world-wide sales.

Before joining eMag, Brendan worked as an electronics and communications engineer in his native UK, where he was in involved in the early development of 3480, 3490e and DLT tape cartridges. He also worked in other engineering capacities, developing static and dynamic RAM's and transmission systems for the telecommunications industry.

Brendan graduated in electronics engineering with communications from Kingston, England and holds a master's of business administration from Durham University (England).

 

Steven E. DuBose
Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Steve DuBose leads the company's financial and administrative organizations. Steve has twenty-five plus years of financial and operational business experience with an established record of success within several emerging growth, dynamic and restructuring environments. His experience includes acquisitions, capital financing activities and the development of infrastructure to enable each business to scale at a rapid rate.

Before joining eMag, DuBose held CFO positions with several private early through mid stage growth companies in a variety of industries such as corporate services, construction and real estate development.

Steve holds a BSBA in Accounting from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant currently active in Georgia.

 

James Burns
Chief Operating Officer

As COO, Jim Burns is responsible for overseeing all of the company's service centers in the US and for directing the development team worldwide. He brings more than 25 years experience in information management, technology operations and executive leadership.

Before joining eMag, Jim spent 17 years in the National Intelligence Community, 3 years in the technology sector and the last 7 years as an executive leader in the legal technology space. He has been responsible for building commercial legal document repositories, electronic discovery processing systems, product management, sales and business development within the legal market. Most recently he was CTO for an electronic discovery service provider.

Jim received his bachelor's degrees in management of information systems from the University of Maryland, Europe.

 

Mike Davies
Managing Director, eMag Solutions, LTD

As managing director for the European arm of eMag Solutions, Mike Davies is responsible for the overall business performance of eMag Solutions in Europe. He has been with eMag for the past 18 years and was named managing director of the UK's subsidiary in January 2007.

Previous positions held within eMag Solutions have included technical director, research and development director, process engineering and product management. Achievements have included the development of high capacity data cartridges, implementation of novel manufacturing techniques and the successful implementation of externally moderated quality systems. Mike has over 20 years experience in data interchange technologies coupled with a deep understanding of the different industry methodologies for the storage, backup and archive of corporate data.

Mike graduated in electronics engineering from Cardiff (Wales) and holds a master's of business administration from Durham University (England).

 

Shawn Strickler
Senior Vice President, Business Development

As the Senior Vice President of Business Development, Shawn Strickler is responsible for overseeing worldwide alliances and the company's business development initiatives.

Shawn has an intimate knowledge of the electronic discovery industry, including data structures, metadata, indexing algorithms, and search and retrieval methodologies. Before joining eMag, he held technical architect and business development positions with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Oracle Corporation and Renew Data Corporation.

Shawn received his bachelor's degrees in international business and German from The University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in science and technology commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin.

 

Bonnie Rodden-Gomes
Vice President of Sales

As the Vice President of Sales, Bonnie Rodden-Gomes is responsible for overseeing worldwide sales for eMag Solutions product and service solutions. Before joining eMag, Ms. Rodden was the founder of Rodden & Company, a successful business development consulting firm focused on the legal technology and services market. Prior to Rodden & Company, she served as vice president of sales and business development at RenewData where, during a five year period, she was responsible for growing revenue from $500,000 to $32 million in annual sales.

Prior to RenewData, Ms. Rodden was president of Techheadhunter, an executive and technical recruiting firm. In total, Ms. Rodden has 20 years of sales and sales management experience, including the development and management of direct, indirect, and inside sales teams for multiple startups and growing corporations. She has designed successful, company-specific sales distribution programs from inception, using Solution Selling and Customer Centric methodology for software, medical, and electronic evidence services companies.

Ms. Rodden has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and attended the MBA program at Bentley College. She is based in Austin, TX and also works out of eMag's Atlanta office.

 

Rupen Patel
Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Rupen is responsible for overseeing the development of eMag’s new software tools and products for both internal use as well as external availability to clients. Rupen has 15 years of software development and management experience, including the development and management of cutting edge products involving a broad cross-section of software technologies.

Before joining eMag, Rupen was a Senior Technical Director at Turner Broadcasting System/CNN.com for the last 8+ years. Prior to TBS, Rupen was a Senior Software Engineer at Cygnus Solutions, a leading edge software company that was acquired by Red Hat. Prior to that, he was at Nortel Networks and Hewlett Packard.

Rupen has a B.S. Computer Science and EE degree from Vanderbilt, and an MS EE degree from Georgia Tech including some coursework at Stanford.

 

Trey Wilkins
Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Trey Wilkins is responsible for overseeing all of the company's service centers in the US, as well as ensuring that all of the company's data centers conform to international recognized standards for data security and QA processes. Trey Wilkins joined the company in 2001 and previous positions held within the company include vice president of security, vice president of production, and vice president of marketing.

Trey brings over 13 years of technology management experience, and before joining eMag, he served as manager of advertising and marketing for Direct Stock Market.com, a Santa Monica, CA-based online investment site, where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing and branding for DSM.com. Prior to that, Trey was responsible for creating an Internet marketing department for TDA Inc., one of the largest certified marketing representatives in the United States.

Trey received his bachelor's degree in marketing from Clayton College and State University (Ga.).
