Recently eMag announced the availability of TapeSample, a new software product that enables eMag to provide the industry's most accurate pricing and scheduling estimates for electronic discovery and general data service projects. TapeSample is a Windows utility that reads customer media, and creates ".DUP" files readable by our internal proprietary software. So what does this mean for you?
Currently, most vendors provide prospective customers with open-ended estimates for electronic discovery and data restoration projects because of difficulties in determining support for the backup software, especially in cases where there are multiple software versions or details about the backup software are unknown.
